Вышла новая версия менеджера рабочего стола DeskSpace 1.5.2 - это трехмерный рабочий стол. Программа ранее была известная под названием Yod'm 3D и выпускалась бесплатно. Позже она была приобретена компанией Otaku Software, которая нынче и выпустила первый релиз программы под новым именем. Вместе со сменой названия поменялся и статус программы – теперь она коммерческая. Программа предлагает увеличить пространство на рабочем столе за счет превращения его в куб. После ее установки вместо одного десктопа в распоряжении пользователя оказывается сразу четыре. Они расположены на гранях виртуального куба, и для переключения между ними нужно повернуть куб. Каждый рабочий стол является полноценным – на нем можно открывать окна, создавать ярлыки, менять обои и т.д. DeskSpace поддерживает горячие клавиши для переключения между рабочими столами, а также некоторые дополнительные эффекты, в частности, прозрачность окон. Программа работает как в Windows Vista, так и в XP!
Среди нововведений последней версии можно отметить поддержку нескольких мониторов (на каждом из них может быть свой трехмерный куб).

To rotate the 3D desktop cube: CTRL+SHIFT+Left/Right = Swith to next or previous desktop.
To move a windows to another desktop (total of virtual 4 desktops): 1. Click and hold on the title bar of the window (not maximized if possible). 2. Press and hold on CTRL+SHIFT keys to activate the Yod’m 3D cube. 3. When the cube is activated, move the window to the left or right. 4. Release CTRL+SHIFT keys.
